BBQ Night

When the weather in Mang Den turns cold, a bonfire is lit in the courtyard and dinner begins there. Firewood is arranged in a circle of stones in the middle of the courtyard, burning all evening. Beside it is a charcoal grill with skewers of beef, sausages, potatoes, bell peppers, and fresh vegetables you grill your own portion, at your own pace. Sticky rice wrapped in foil is placed on the charcoal, cooking slowly while everyone sits and chats. Wooden chairs and swings are placed around the fire, close enough to be warm, far enough to see the stars.
